27-year old righty swinging outfielder George Springer has finally stayed healthy for the Houston Astros in 2016 and they result is some pretty impressive numbers! Springer has played in 157 games for the Astros so far this year and he is 162 of 624 (.260 avg, .816 OPS) with 113 runs scored, 28 homers, 79 RBI and 9 stolen bases. That is very impressive power for a leadoff hitter and he has also walked 88 times so far this year. But, he has been caught stealing a A.L. leading 10 times this year and he has whiffed 174 times…..but that is nitpicking! Springer has now played in 337 games in his first three years with the Astros and he is 337 of 1,307 (.258 avg, .816 OPS) with 217 runs scored, 64 homers, 171 RBI and 30 stolen bases.
