27-year old lefty swinging 1B/3B Brett Wallace is going well lately for the Astros. Since July 1st, Wallace has played in 52 games for the Astros in which he is 45 of 175 (.257 avg) with 27 runs scored, 11 homers, 26 RBIs and 1 stolen base. Wallace has now played in 64 games overall this year for the Astros and he is 50 of 219 (.228 avg, .750 OPS) with 31 runs scored, 12 homers, 31 RBIs and 1 stolen base. As long was Wallace keeps raking at the plate, he will continue to get regular ABs for the Astros the rest of the way in 2013.
