The Astros’ payroll is so low that they won’t be under any pressure to deal anyone to shed cash. With that in mind, they will only make deals that make sense to them. Bud Norris and Jose Veras are the top two trade chips, without a doubt, that the Astros have on their roster right now. They won’t deal either of them without getting back something pretty darn good prospect wise. Carlos Pena, Roger Cedeno, Carlos Corporan, Justin Maxwell, Lucas Harrell, Erik Bedard and Travis Blackley could have some value depending on what teams the Astros would be talking to about them. I don’t think the Astros will be really busy at the trade deadline.
