The Astros have shipped 21-year old righty swinging outfielder Jose Monzon to the Rockies as the player to be named later in the Wilton Lopez deal. Monzon didn’t play in any games so far this year in the minors for the Astros. He played in 183 games in his four years in the minors for the Astros and he was 124 of 582 (.213 avg, .610 OPS) with 91 runs scored, 9 homers, 50 RBIs and 34 stolen bases. This is absolutely no loss for the Astros moving forward.
